Win Mumby Gym has been host to two inter-schools badminton tournaments of late. Last week the boys had the opportunity to test their talent against other local schools, and this week it was the girls’ turn. Students across the whole range of ages from Grades 6-12 competed, putting up a good show against a competitive field.
Some spectators were there to do more than just cheer on the Woodstock teams. Mr Ruben Pinzon’s AP statistics class, given away by their clipboards and scientific calculators, recorded data from the tournament. By analysing the data, they hoped to see if any patterns emerged which differentiated Woodstock’s team from the other schools’.
