07 Nov Woodstock Celebrates…Uttarakhand Diwas and Diwali
Uttrakhand Diwas on 9th November with a special lunch and tea which will include delicacies from Uttrakhand. The day will mark 12 years since the state of Uttrakhand was formed. Alumni who were in the Advance Band in the fall of 2000 will remember leading the parade in Mussoorie on 9th November, 2000!
Diwali on 13th November with special dinners at Edgehill, Community Centre and Alter Ridge followed by a fireworks display from the patio of Clifton Hostel by a professional. The display would be best viewed from Ridgewood Field. Chai and mithai will be served at Alter Ridge at 7:30 p.m. after the fireworks display.
