A graduate of prestigious institutions such as Northwestern University where she got her Bachelor’s, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she got her MFA in Film and the Stern School of Business for her MBA, Shruti has carved out a distinguished career, making films that have premiered at world-renowned festivals, including Sundance, Venice, Tribeca, and SXSW. Her projects have garnered critical acclaim for their bold narratives and innovative storytelling, with several earning prestigious awards and accolades.

As the founder of honto88, a production company that bridges cultures and creates meaningful content, Shruti has collaborated with major platforms like HBO, Netflix, Amazon and Universal, and has worked with global icons such as Priyanka Chopra, Vanessa Williams and Margaret Atwood. Her influence extends to the commercial and music video space and she has worked on campaigns for brands ranging from Nike, Netlix and Michael Kors, and crafting visuals for celebrated musical artists and authors.

Shruti’s commitment to social impact is equally inspiring.
