Unlock your potential and develop your English Language skills and come join our dynamic 2-week EAL (English as an Additional Language) program. This program has been carefully tailored and designed to empower learners at every level, beginner, intermediate, or advanced, to build your confidence, develop essential language skills, and most importantly to experience the fun and joy of learning key aspects of the English language in a supportive and engaging environment.
Aligned with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), this Summer school program tailors instruction to meet each student’s current ability while challenging them to achieve their personal best. Using the globally recognised WIDA framework, we will assess all participants at the start of the course to identify their strengths and areas for development. These assessments will form the foundation of an Individual Learning Plan (ILP), ensuring that each student receives personalised guidance throughout their journey at Summer@Woodstock.
What Will Students Gain?
- Beginners (CEFR A1–A2): Will build foundational skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through interactive activities, students will gain vocabulary and grammar to express themselves in everyday situations.
- Intermediate (CEFR B1–B2): Students will enhance and develop their fluency and accuracy in communication. They will explore storytelling, practical conversations, and structured writing to express more complex ideas with confidence.
- Advanced (CEFR C1–C2): At this stage, students will develop and refine their language skills for academic and professional contexts. A key focus will be on critical thinking, advanced grammar, persuasive writing, and polished presentation skills.
