This week we had a bumper music recital, with eight students performing, alongside Woodstock staff and alumni. They are (pictured left to right) Jaekyung, violin; Suryansh, tenor; Isabella Shaw ’17, cello; Ruke, piano; Yehun, violin; Mubaraq, piano; Haeun, flute; Gyeongmin, violin; and Samaira, guitar. These weekly, informal recitals are a great way for students to share their talents, while building experience of performing in front of an audience in a friendly and supportive setting.

    Woodstock has had a vibrant musical community over the years!! It is surely gratifying to see this continue into the 21st century. Best wishes for a lifelong practice of the musical arts for those pictured here.
